VSL manages the Netherlands’ metrology infrastructure and provides traceability to primary standards. Its RF facilities calibrate vector network analysers, power sensors and calibration kits, include an in-house traceable calibration substrate, and provide expertise in measurement uncertainty and the quality of RF measurement results.

VSL contributes the metrology needed to create confidence in RF measurement and test results. Within POLARIS, its traceability, measurement-uncertainty expertise and broad calibration facilities can support the reliable validation and comparison of new RF technologies. VSL also develops measurement and calibration methods for emerging challenges, including on-wafer measurements, helping partners demonstrate performance and quality to customers and other stakeholders.
