Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e)

Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is a research university specialising in engineering science and technology. Its Electrical Engineering researchers work on integrated RF circuits, antennas, electromagnetic and multi-physics modelling, wireless sensing and communications, and MRI hardware. TU/e combines fundamental research with close industry collaboration to develop technologies for complex high-tech systems.

POLARIS value chain

Microelectronics / RF Systems

Relevant applications

Next-generation MRI; advanced radar systems; wireless connectivity; RF components and integrated RF systems; electromagnetic and multi-physics modelling and simulation.

Contribution to POLARIS

TU/e contributes research across RF circuits and systems through three approved POLARIS projects: spillover cancellation in radar systems, sensing and testing capabilities for future digital MRI coil arrays, and modular multi-scale modelling and simulation. TU/e also leads the POLARIS Research theme on RF Systems, connecting integrated-circuit design, antennas and electromagnetic modelling to application needs in radar, MRI and wireless communication.
